GIS Training 2 : Mapping netCDF data in ArcGIS Pro
1:00 – 2:30 pm MDT
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a spatial system for creating, managing, analyzing, and mapping data. GIS can be used to understand patterns, relationships, and geographic context in spatial data. The GIS Program at NCAR was established in 2003 to advance actionable and convergent Earth System science through geographic information science and technology. This training is available to UCAR staff and visitors and will provide an opportunity to learn how to work with netCDF data in ArcGIS Pro, design a map, and work with different mapping. Participants must have access to a computer with Windows (VM will work). ArcGIS Pro software will be provided by the GIS Program to participants and must be installed prior to the training. The training will take place virtually.
Signup by Friday July 21st.
