In this exercise you will work with crop data from cropScape data for North Dakota.  You will identify how crops have changed over the years in North Dakota as well as explore climate variables such as temperature and precipitation.

  • Displaying a number of different data formats.

In this exercise you will be working with global climate model output from the Community Earth System Model (CESM) in order to map possible future precipitation change by the middle of the 21st century as well as future drought.

  • Navigating the ArcMap interface.
  • Working with multidimensional data.
  • Working with the Time Slider. 
  • Exporting an animation of future drought.
