This is a freely available Geographic Information Systems (GIS) course geared towards GIS and weather and climate  students and practitioners. This course is intended to teach intermediate Geographic Information Systems (GIS) concepts, methods and terminology using weather and climate case studies.

Technical skills you will learn:

• Access raw precipitation data from NOAA.
• Interpolate point data into a raster.
• Create a departure from normal grid.
