Exploring Coastal Flood Risk Through Geospatial Storytelling : Introduction to ArcGIS Dashboards

Main content

In this exercise you will create a dashboard to communicate the risk of a Category 3 hurricane storm surge flooding in Chatham, GA. Your dashboard will include six elements; a map, a pie chart, a list, a serial chart, a map legend, and an indicator. All elements can be configured and interactive.

Technical skills you will learn:

  • Work with netCDF multidimensional data in GIS.
  • Graph temporal trends.
